T-Mobile Rolling out the Galaxy S8 & S8+ Oreo Update

The T-Mobile is finally rolling out the Galaxy S8 & S8+ Oreo Update with PDA versions G950USQU2CRB9 and G955USQU2CRB9 respectively.

Finally the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ owners will get the taste if Android 8.0 Oreo on their phones. The T-Mobile is rolling out this update after a couple of days from the new update released from Verizon which upgrades the Android Version to Android 8.0 Oreo.

Both carriers T-Mobile and Verizon rolling out the new update Android 8.0.0 Oreo for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, and it’s only a matter of time to see the new Android Oreo update hit the AT&T and Sprint Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. So, users on those carriers should expect the new update soon.

T-Mobile is now rolling out the new Firmware Update with PDA version G950USQU2CRB9 for Galaxy S8 SM-G950U, and G955USQU2CRB9 for Galaxy S8+ SM-G955U. The Firmware Upgrade file size for Galaxy S8 and S8+ expected to be over 1.5GB since it’s an Android OS Update, which will upgrade your current Android version.

The new update from T-Mobile is being rolled out via OTA (Over-The-Air), so it may take a while to go live in all regions. Also, you should know that the new update G950USQU2CRB9 and G955USQU2CRB9 will be in the Security update of the February 2018 Security Patch Level not the March 2018.

The T-Mobile Galaxy S8 SM-G950U and Galaxy S8+ SM-G955U Oreo Update brings all of the features of the Android 8.0.0 Oreo such as MultiTasking support for Apps, the new Picture-in-picture mode, Notification dots, Autofill and more. Also, some of Samsung specific features such as more Edge lighting effect, and Dual Messenger are included too.
