Xiaomi has silently launched a new variant of the Redmi 5 Samrtphone that was launched in China last year. The Xiaomi Redmi 5 now comes in a 4GB RAM variant in China at a price of 1,099 yuan (roughly Rs 11,050).Apart from the bump in RAM, the smartphone bears exactly similar specifications to the original variant launched last year, alongside the Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus. Chinese smartphone brands are dominating Indian market thanks to successful localization, a global tech industry analysis firm has said. The Two main companies that dominate the Market now are Xiaomi and Samsung.
